Khamsavan Martin Wiesner was born on a cold December night in 1980’s Zurich, Switzerland. He was always interested in art, and has been drawing since he can remember being able to hold a pencil. Tried to get into art school here in Zurich, but they didn’t like him. So, screw them! Getting heavily into Graffiti Culture in the mid 90s, Khamsavan learned a lot about how to lay out a piece, line work, colour combination and so on. While living in Portland, Oregon for 3 years, he actually took some Graphic and Art classes in High School and learned some basics, but other than that, he’s completely self taught. He prefers to work with Pencils, Ink and Markers (he uses double tip Copic and Touch Designer Markers). It’s fast and efficient, and looks great if applied right. All his work is done by hand, no computers! Main influences are classic Tattoo-Art, old American Flash, traditional Japanese Tattoo designs and underground art in general. But also everyday surroundings, stuff he sees on the street when walking outside goes into the work. His goal is to break into the Tattooing Industry, so wish him luck with that. Wearing his own art under his skin, he thinks that it would be a wonderful way to make a living putting it under other people’s skin as well.

Katie Hanratty also works under the persona of Inspector Marmalade, was born and bred in the Wirral UK and finds herself in Preston during most of term time. She has just finished her second year of an Illustration Degree at University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) and is excited (if not a little scared) about starting her final year. Katie is a compulsive doodler with a tendency to scribble, it is hard to say which media she prefers most as she enjoys working in both 2D and 3D styles with a lot of doodling thrown in for good measure. Her current projects include a silly amount of summer briefs and she has just started designing t-shirts for a custom clothes shop called Hustla (Preston). She enjoys bringing humour and texture into her work through fabrics or found objects and is still working at finding her own style but is content experimenting and finding inspiration in the most unlikely of places. Look, see now there’s a little piece under your chair!

Elena Sedova was born and raised in Russia. In 2006 she moved to the USA and since then, she’s been living and working in New York. Educated at Krasnodar Art Academy and Art College, Elena gained a rich foundation for her present and future artworks. Elena has over 10 years of work experience. She draws illustrations for magazines and children’s books. In her art she uses a variety of styles and techniques. Her favorite part of a composition, the part she loves the most is a character creation. Like she used to say, it’s an exciting moment when you bring the character to life, come up with different poses, facial expressions and movements. Besides there is always a challenge, you never know what’s coming out in the end. Also Elena creates cartoons and comics. Elena is an open, easy-going person and in her art she has no boundaries. Her unique artistic abilities have been shown in many Art Galleries all over the world. Elena is an award-winning artist.

Jemillo aka illustrator Jem Robinson. Based in the UK, Jemillo loves to create bold, striking illustrations but she is also partial to an animation and can always be persuaded to put on her designers hat if it pays her! Her work tends to show hyper-realistic situations with recognisable landscapes twisted into new compositions, often with an industrial feel. A limited colour palette plays a massive part in the work and is often used to convey an emotion, link ideas together and create impact. Educated at Loughborough University School of Art and Design (LUSAD to those who know it) Jemillo’s most treasured possession is her Mac. She LOVES it. Too much. The day a small fly managed to squeeze into the screen (and can now be seen everyday when a white window is open) was a very sad day. There were tears. But you move on….
